Terms of service

Nico & The Shoppers is a C2C platform, that is, between private individuals, whose only role is to put in touch users interested in buying and selling handmade and collectible items. It is simply a meeting point and takes no part in the agreements between users.

The platform does not process, manage, hold, intermediate, or guarantee any payment. Every payment and every agreement takes place directly and exclusively between users, off the platform and under their sole responsibility.

Prices are set by sellers: the platform does not set prices, does not take commissions, and does not handle payments. Tax and legal obligations relating to sales are the sole responsibility of the sellers, who must declare whether they act as professionals (for example, if they sell on a regular basis as part of a business activity).

Payment takes place directly between buyer and seller through the payment provider chosen among those offered on the platform (PayPal, Revolut, Ko-fi, or Satispay): the platform does not collect, hold, verify, or guarantee any payment and is not a party to the economic transaction between users. Any buyer protection depends solely on the terms of the payment provider used (for example PayPal's Purchase Protection, available when paying as "Goods and Services"): the platform offers no protection or guarantee of its own on the payment. Shipping of the item is the seller's responsibility; any payment disputes must be handled with the payment provider used, not with the platform.

Buying, selling, payment, shipping, and delivery take place directly between users: the platform takes no part in them. For sales between different countries, customs duties, import taxes, and compliance with import/export rules and local laws are the sole responsibility of the users involved.

Whoever runs the project is in no way responsible for payments, transactions, scams, fraud, charges, missed payments, undelivered items, counterfeit, non-conforming, or damaged products, nor for any dispute, loss, or damage arising from agreements or interactions between users. Users deal with each other at their own risk and are urged to exercise the utmost caution.

The platform does not verify the identity of users, nor the quality, legality, or authenticity of the items offered.

• Do not publish illegal or offensive content, or content that infringes the rights of others, including copyright and trademark rights.
• Do not offer prohibited or counterfeit items.
• Comply with applicable laws.

You are solely responsible for the content you publish.

Spam, abuse, the use of bots, and any attempt to circumvent security measures are prohibited.

You are solely responsible for the content you publish: listings, profile, private messages, reviews, and messages in the public chat. By publishing content you grant Nico & The Shoppers a non-exclusive, free, revocable license to host, store, reproduce, and display it solely to operate the service. You keep ownership of your content.

The global chat and the Bacheca are public spaces: by taking part you accept the Chat rules. Content that violates these terms or the rules may be hidden or removed, and whoever posts it may be muted, suspended, or banned.

By publishing or listing any content or item, you declare that you hold all the necessary rights and that you do not infringe the copyright, trademarks, or other intellectual property rights of third parties. Nico & The Shoppers is a fan-made project not affiliated with Twenty One Pilots: all names, trademarks, logos, symbols, album and era titles, and any other works associated with Twenty One Pilots or any third party belong to their respective owners.

We respect the intellectual property of others and apply a notice-and-take-down procedure. If you are a rights holder and believe that content published on the platform infringes your rights, you can report it to [email protected], indicating the content concerned, the right you believe is infringed, and your contact details: we will promptly remove the content upon a well-founded report. Users responsible for repeated infringements may be suspended or removed.

Reviews must be truthful and based on real transactions. Fake, retaliatory, or manipulated reviews are prohibited and may be removed.

Whoever runs the project may suspend or remove accounts and content that violate these terms.

As an independent, non-profit project, we do not guarantee that the service will always be available, uninterrupted, or error-free. The service may be suspended, interrupted, or changed at any time, even without notice, for maintenance, updates, technical reasons, or force majeure. To the extent permitted by law, we accept no liability for interruptions, temporary outages, or any loss of data.

The service is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, whoever runs the project is not liable for direct or indirect damages arising from use of the service or from interactions between users.

These terms may be updated over time. In the event of substantial changes, we will notify you (for example with a notice on the site or by email) with reasonable advance notice, normally at least 15 days before they take effect. Continued use of the service after the changes take effect implies acceptance of them; if you do not accept them, you may stop using the service and close your account.
